Biography:
I received a BS degree in Computer Science from Korea University in 1990 and a MS degree in Computer Sciecne from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) in 1992.
I worked as a research staff at ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) until 1998 and as a research assistant at NCSA (National Center for Supercomputing Applications) from February 2000 to May 2001. Now, I am a graduate student of UIUC since August 1999, and I am researching scalable actor framework in the OSL (Open Systems Laboratory) group.

Actor Model, Collaborative Agent, Multi-Agent System, Distributed Computing, and Artificial Intelligence

Software:
The Actor Architecture (AA) - The Actor Architecture (AA) is an actor-based agent framework fully implemented in Java language. AA consists of AA platforms and actor library: AA platforms are actor execution environments where actors across distributed systems operate and communicate with other actors; and an actor library are used to develop actors which will be executed on AA. AA provides the fundamental middleware services for multi-agent systems.
